Patrice Harvey. Helmet Painter, free thinker.
I began helmet painting as a hobby in 1996 when I was in school. I started by painting bicycle helmets for friends then for friends of friends. Then I met mister Paul Corriveau,a famous motorcycle painter who accepted to teach me his tricks. I had the privilege of working in his paintshop for a few years before going on my own. In the meantime in 1997, I met Jean-Francois Dumoulin who was going to be my first motorsport client. That hobby soon became a job and by 2001 I was doing it full time and I am still going today. I take pride in my job and paint every helmet as if it was mine. Today, I am the proud father of a little boy and still with my wonderfull girlfriend who has been keeping up with me all these years. I ride my mountain bike once in while to keep some kind of a shape (although I love good food and wine, that's a tough mix!). I ski all winter long (because winters are loooong in Quebec!). And still get in the paintshop every morning with the same energy and passion I had almost 20 years ago.
Where is that story leading me? I am not sure but, I love being part of it.
